I would like to inform you of the excellent service provided by Doug's Custom Paint & Body, Chatsworth, CA. I was involved in a car accident on June 4, 2008 and arranged repair with Doug's. It has been something like 25 years since I've been involved in an accident so this process was all new to me. As informed by State Farm, Doug's is an authorized State Farm Repair Center, so I figured it made sense to just have the car towed there and have them effect the repair. I am very happy that I made that decision. It seemed that the whole repair and claim process went very smoothly. The people that I was in contact with at the repair facility (Doug and Dave) were always very friendly and courteous, and they kept me updated with the progress of the repair. They always seemed to be on top of all the different steps of the repair. They also showed a lot of sincere empathy for my situation and were very nice guys to deal with. The damage to the car was severe, as it was a head-on collision, plus I had literally just driven the car off the dealer's lot twelve days prior to the accident. The repair job was excellent and the car runs like a new vehicle. I haven't had any problems. "I've been going to Doug's for about ten years now, mostly for minor custom work, and have been very satisfied with the craftsmanship and prompt service. So when my Corvette got clobbered I told my insurance company that it had to go to Doug's. Period, end of report. They (AAA) said 'no problem,' and from that point on Doug and Dave handled all the details. They had to virtually rebuild the back half of the car, including the suspension, and when I got it back it looked like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Well, I did have Doug add a racing stripe on my nickel. I am very pleased with the results and have had many compliments from other car enthusiasts."
